See Who’s Who entry.  Born in the Mumbles, Swansea, brought up in Pembrokeshire (Johnston and Haverfordwest).  Educated at Haverfordwest Grammar School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford (awarded Open Scholarship in History to read Jurisprudence).  Lives and works in London.  Keen sportsman; one of very few to have represented Welsh secondary schools at both cricket and rugby.  Played County and University cricket prior to being called to the Bar.  Member of the MCC Main Committee for over 15 years, Cricket Committee (10 years), Chairman of the MCC Laws Sub-Committee (6 years) and Chairman of the Test Match Grounds Consortium.
