Robert Griffiths QC, one of Britain’s most preeminent and experienced commercial Barristers, will provide unique insights into evaluating the way forward by providing a comparative evaluation of the litigation and arbitration process as a means of dispute resolution. Robert will also consider the implications of the United States Supreme Court decision in American Express Co v Italian Colors Restaurant 133 S.Court. 2304 (2013). Finally, he will also address some of the issues raised by Lord Thomas, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, in the Bailii Lecture 2016 entitled “Developing commercial law through the courts: rebalancing the relationship between the courts and arbitration.

One of the country’s leading QC’s has agreed to work with and become a Non Executive Director at the innovative banking platform provider Saescada.
Robert Griffiths QC is a senior practising Queen’s Counsel who has a domestic and international commercial practice across a range of specialist areas of law including contract, property and international trade. He has appeared in a large number of reported cases, many of which are at appellate level in the Court of Appeal, House of Lords, Privy Council and more recently in the Supreme Court.
