The new UK Commercial mega-court and other UK commercial litigation initiatives

Robert Griffiths QC, one of Britain’s most preeminent and experienced commercial Barristers, will provide unique insights into evaluating the way forward by providing a comparative evaluation of the litigation and arbitration process as a means of dispute resolution. Robert will also consider the implications of the United States Supreme Court decision in American Express Co v Italian Colors Restaurant 133 S.Court. 2304 (2013). Finally, he will also address some of the issues raised by Lord Thomas, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, in the Bailii Lecture 2016 entitled “Developing commercial law through the courts: rebalancing the relationship between the courts and arbitration.
